Café Noir Design is a one-person design studio specializing in bilingual solutions for the web. Owner Shannon Smith has been working in web design for a number of years and has the expertise to help your business succeed.

We are located in Mont-Saint-Hilaire in the Montérégie region of Quebec, Canada.

What We Do

We build websites, large and small, for businesses and non-profit groups across Canada and beyond. We provide quality service, specialized knowledge and advanced technical solutions.

We use up-to-date technologies and coding standards to ensure that your website will be search-engine friendly, accessible and easy to use.

We also provide complete branding packages, for both your real-world and online identities, including logo and print design.

How We Stay Green

Café Noir Design believes in sustainable business practices; we recommend EcoHosting, a green web host, source eco-friendly printers and recycled paper stock.

We have an office recycling program. But we try to reduce our use of materials as much as possible, choosing email over paper documents, whenever possible.

How We Support Our Community

We support efforts to strengthen our community. We work with local and non-profit groups. Contact us for more information.

We also support the online community by recommending Open Source software solutions. Open source code is typically high-quality, lets you avoid licensing fees, and most importantly allows you to adapt the software to your needs.
